The role of fundraising in the College falls principally to two bodies, the College’s Parents and Friends Association and the Development Office.
The P & F fundraise through a series of raffles and social activities, the latter providing a sense of fun and cohesion for the community while providing funds for minor College projects that support students and staff.
The Development Office directs its fundraising activities towards supporting the College's capital development.
In doing so it conducts extraordinary special events and focuses on acquiring sponsorship, grants and donations.
In addition it conducts a series of fundraising appeals to the community throughout the year.
All funds raised by the Development Office are directed to the College’s Building Fund and are tax deductible.
At present the focus of our fundraising activities is three fold, to gain funds for the College’s new
- Senior College Campus and Science Laboratories
- Community Gymnasium
- Performing Arts Centre
In 2008/9 the College won over $7million in Federal Government grants allowing it to undertake these great new developments. Overall the project costs will exceed $9.2 million.
To help meet the difference between the costs and the grants the Development Office has established an Appeal.
All members of the Community are encouraged to support the Appeal and gifts are both acknowledged and deeply appreciated.
To discover more on how you can support this Appeal, please contact the College's Development Manager, Mr Jim Donaghy on 8254 0655
Your gift will make a difference.
