It is with great enthusiasm that St Columba College embraces International Students. The unique Anglican / Catholic governance of the College has allowed it to encapsulate students from many different denominations and cultures. Of the 840 students in our Secondary College, nearly 200 students have an overseas background. Families in the College’s community speak 27 different languages. 

The College, located in the outer northern suburbs of Adelaide, is renowned for its peace and tranquility. With a lake at its southern boundary and playing fields to the north it is the ideal place for a student to study.

Host Families at St Columba College

At the end of Term 2, St Columba farewelled Amalina Farahiya, an Indonesian exchange student who spent six weeks studying at the College. We asked Simon Abbot, who along with the rest of the Abbot family hosted Lina during her time in South Australia, to give us a bit of an insight into the experience of an exchange program from the perspective of the host family.
