National Partnership on Literacy and Numeracy
Implementation Plan 2011
The Smarter Schools National Partnerships are a joint initiative of the Australian Government and Catholic Education SA
Included in our school plan is a section which documents initiatives supported by Australian Government funding through the National Partnership on Literacy and Numeracy and co-investment by Catholic Education SA and our school. This National Partnership is designed to further build the capacity of South Australian schools to contribute to the achievement of the following high-level outcomes of:
(a) all children are engaged in and benefiting from schooling;
(b) young people are meeting basic literacy and numeracy standards, and overall levels of literacy and numeracy achievement are improving;
(c) schooling promotes the social inclusion and reduces the educational disadvantage of children, especially Indigenous children.
