Discipline for Living
We maintain consistent and fair discipline which focuses on the behaviour of the individual student and their interactions with others. Our policy provides a well ordered College environment and a pattern for developing respectful, happy relationships.
Dedicated Staff
Our staff offer understanding, care and encouragement to each and every student. All staff members have been carefully selected because of their specialist skills, faith and dedication to their profession. All staff are selected on their ability to help students be successful.
Community Leadership
Developing leadership skills is an integral aspect of College life. We see this as a gift to society. Therefore each student is encouraged to develop personal leadership skills to benefit the local and wider community.
Academic Excellence
St Columba College is proud of its students' achievements. We have outstanding results in academic pursuits as well as in vocational studies. We encourage a high level of academic excellence. A balanced curriculum is offered including Religious Education, the Sciences, Technology, the Arts, Health, Physical Education, Indonesian and a particular focus on English and Mathematics. Where necessary tailored programs are developed for students with special needs, including programs for gifted students. At the core of our teaching are the values of our Christian traditions. Parents are expected to be partners in the educational process.
Balanced Education
We aim to educate the whole person; academically, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Religious education and chaplaincy programs support our academic program. As such we expect students to enter into all aspects of College life including camps and our retreat programs.

Affordable Fee Structure
Our fees are structured to assist with access for all who desire to have a St Columba education. Parents are invited to discuss with the Principal and the Business Manager whether any discounts or fee reductions are available to them.
