House Groups
St Columba College seeks to provide support for all its community members. Pastoral care for individual students and the student community as a whole is of prime importance. One way of supporting students is through our network of House Groups which enables the growth of smaller communities within the College.

As part of our Pastoral Care program the College allocates each student to one of its  8 Houses. Each house is named after a famous person who has contributed in a meaningful way to Australia's history. Many, such as St Mary McKillop, have strong links to South Australia and one or either of the two Churches (Catholic/Anglican) under whose auspices the College operates.

Our House Groups aim to:
  • Develop pastoral care support for all students.
  • Encourage students to know and support students from all year levels.
  • Encourage leadership within the student community.
  • Highlight our Christian calling to love our neighbour as ourselves.
  • Ensure maximum student participation in College events.
