The role of fundraising in the College falls principally to two bodies, the College’s Parents and Friends Association and the Development Office.
The P&F fundraise through a series of raffles and social activities, the latter providing a sense of fun and cohesion for the community while providing funds for minor College projects that support students and staff.
The Development Office directs its fundraising activities towards supporting the College's capital development.
In doing so it conducts extraordinary special events and focuses on acquiring sponsorship, grants and donations.
In addition it conducts a series of fundraising appeals to the community throughout the year.
All funds raised by the Development Office are directed to the College’s Building Fund and are tax deductible.
In 2012 the Development Office successfully raised funds to build a pergola at the new senior school site. This new sheltered area complete with tables and chairs provided by the P&F provides senior students with a relaxing environment in which to socialise during their breaks.
A spirit of giving is characteristic of the St Columba College community, we understand the importance of building strong education foundations for current students and that the success and strength of our College reflects on those students long after they have finished their secondary education.
All members of the Community are encouraged to support the annual Building Appeal and gifts are both acknowledged and deeply appreciated.
To discover more on how you can support this Appeal, please contact the College's Development Manager, Mrs Jacinta Weiss on 8254 0655
Your gift will make a difference.
